Full Description:
The Kenwood NX-1300DE3 is the replacement for the TK-D340 and includes the latest digital protocols – DMR or NXDN.
This radio is ideally suited for schools as we have a unique feature that enables seamless communications in a ‘Lockdown’ scenario (PCO16).
Each radio has 15 useable channels that can be assigned to Estates, Management, First Aid, Diner ladies etc… In the event of a lockdown scenario, whoever needs to initiate the alarm simply turns their radio to channel 16 and holds in the PTT button for 5 seconds before announcing their message.
During the 5 seconds an alarm sound is sent to all the radios, across all the channels simultaneously and a blue flashing light, flashes on the radio. Anyone transmitting at the time will be cut off to be able to hear the alarm sounding.
These radios also include digital encryption to conform to GDPR. Coupled with the ‘Lockdown’ feature makes these radios ideal for safety and security of your staff and pupils.
