PCO 16
The PCO 16 lockdown software is ideally suited for schools due to a unique feature that enables seamless communications in a ‘Lockdown’ scenario. Each radio will have 15 useable channels that can be assigned to Estates, Management, First Aid, Diner ladies etc…
In the event of a lockdown scenario, whoever needs to initiate the alarm simply turns their radio to channel 16 and holds in the PTT button for 5 seconds before announcing their message. During the 5 seconds an alarm sound is sent to all the radios, across all the channels simultaneously and a blue flashing light, flashes on the radio. Anyone transmitting at the time will be cut off to be able to hear the alarm sounding.
The perfect solution for when immediate action needs to be taken in the event of an emergency.
LONE WORKER AND MAN DOWN
Our radios offer additional safety features such as Lone Worker and Man Down functionalities.
The man down feature is a crucial safety measure for workers in hazardous environments. It offers advanced functionality to automatically detect and respond to emergencies. When a worker is injured or falls unconscious, the radio’s motion sensor activates an alarm sequence, triggering an emergency call.
With programmable options, the man down feature can detect irregular orientations or extended periods of user inactivity. Once triggered, the alarm notifies designated team members, user groups, or a central control room.
This robust man down capability ensures rapid response and provides an added layer of protection for workers in high-risk industrial and manufacturing environments.
