The Motorola DP4600e is an advanced and powerful handheld digital radio from Motorola's DP4000e MOTOTRBO range. The handheld comes with a display on the front of the radio to help the user navigate MOTOTRBO's features. This can be used to see which individual user is calling at a given time, or even to select a particular user to make a private call.
This feature also allows the radio user to send pre-programmed text messages to groups or particular users, which is ideal for emergency scenarios.
The DP4000e series offers three radios, the DP4400/4401, DP4600/4601e & DP4800/4801.
With an IP68 specification the radio can be submersed, but it also provides an excellent barrier to dusty and dirty working conditions. This makes the DP4600e an excellent choice for busy working sites such as landfills, quarries and construction sites.
The Motorola DP4600e is analogue compatible, allowing you to operate with your existing equipment until you are ready to make the switch to a full digital system.
